Abstract

This  article is devoted to the discussion of speech etiquette as a component of the cultural minimum. Adherence to the norms of speech etiquette plays a significant role in society. The article addresses the impact of human speech activity and etiquette on relationships with others, the world, and society. The study highlights the influence of speech behavior on interpersonal relationships, cultural perceptions, and their expression, emphasizing the importance of speech etiquette in English and Uzbek cultural contexts.
